Test Methods For Permanent Magnet

1.Surface Flux Density Test

With competitive price and timely delivery, ZCL sincerely hope to be your supplier and partner.

Equipment:Gaussmeter

Details:The probe of meter send a test current through the conductor and due to Hall Effect,voltage is produced,which the meter then records.Suppose the probe is moved around an area of 0.6 ' near the magnet and indicates a constant reading of 5 mT.Then the magnetic flux through that area is calculated as (5x10^-3T)x(0.6''=0.Wb.

2.Br,Hc,BHmax and Orientation Test

Equipment:Fluxmeter connected with a Helmhltz coil

Details:The magnet will be placed mid-space inside the coils and then pulled out.The magnetic flux of the magnet produces a current in the coils.The connected fluxmeter will measure the induced voltage and provide data in mVs,Webers,or Maxwells.

Based on these data, and turn numbers of Helmholtz coil, the magnet volume, the permeance coefficient,we can determine values Br,Hc,BHmax and orientation angles.

3.Hysteresis Test

Equipment:DC Magnetizer and a Fluxmetr connected to a Search Coil

Details:This is the most expensive one of the various tests.The magnet is wound by search coils,then placed between two large pole pieces which created a closed loop system.A DC magnetizer cycles the magnet from saturation to demagnetization,then in reverse direction.The fluxmeter records B and H.Using a special software,the Hysteresis Curve could be produced.
