It supports a number of vertical mounting scenarios and provides great flexibility with the one-bolt installation and the Ericsson Rail system. The Radio should preferably be located near the antenna but can be located up to 40 km from the baseband unit. A fiber optic cable can be used to connect the Radio to the baseband unit and several radio units can be connected in a cascade or star configuration. Towards the antenna system Radio provides support for TMA and RET. GSM, WCDMA and LTE is supported with up to 8 carriers in total. A mix of 2 standards is supported with and IBW of up to 60 MHz.
